CSO TREATMENT OF WITHIN LABOUR LEGISLATIONS AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS IN KOSOVO

Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) has organized the first focus group within the project entitled "CSO Treatment of within Labour Legislations and Employment programs in Kosovo” This project is supported by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and the Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN).

This event brought together representatives from civil society organizations, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare aiming to discuss the following points:

• Discuss the existing labour legislation, raising awareness on the need to change the current law on Labour;

• Discuss the implementation of the existing legal framework in Kosovo, and working conditions and challenges of working in this sector.

Recommendations of this working group will be used by the KCSS team in compiling the policy document expected to be drafted by the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies.
